Advanced Manufacturing Programs Specialist

LED FastStart™, Louisiana Economic Development's single-source, workforce solutions provider, is building a world-class team to support Louisiana's workforce redesign plan.

LED FastStart is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Programs Specialist to manage "Advanced Manufacturing" (Robotics, PLCs, Servos, Automated Manufacturing Systems) training programs for manufacturing and logistics client companies across the state of Louisiana. The Advanced Manufacturing Programs Specialist will manage project teams, instructional designers and instructors, as well as collaborate with internal project managers to develop and deliver training and other value-added materials.

Minimum Qualifications

Education
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, instructional design, adult education or related field, plus a minimum of 10 years significant work experience in the manufacturing industry
OR
An associate's degree in engineering, business, instructional design, adult education or related field, plus a minimum of 15+ years manufacturing experience, which must include at least five years training experience

Experience in robotics, PLCs, servos, automated manufacturing systems implementation and training is strongly preferred.

In addition, the Advanced Manufacturing Programs Specialist will be required to travel extensively throughout Louisiana and, occasionally, out-of-state and internationally.
