customized training programs for their processes.
Louisiana FastStart seeks Contract
Trainers and Instructional Designers to develop and deliver
training programs. Working with Louisiana FastStart training
project managers, contractors are assigned as trainers and
instructional designers to develop and deliver the training
materials required to train clients' workforce in business and
manufacturing environments.
Minimum Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and
significant work experience in business
operations and manufacturing operations, documenting
processes, developing training materials and delivering classroom
and on-the-floor training. Experience in training needs analysis,
course development incorporating ISD/Adult Learning Methodologies,
classroom instruction and use of MS Office Suite is strongly
preferred.
Preferred manufacturing experience includes: OSHA safety,
computer numberical controlled (CNC) equipment, programmable logic
controllers (PLCs), automated manufacturing processes, electrical
and mechanical fundamentals, troubleshooting operations and quality
systems. Additional preferred business operations experience
includes: finance, headquarter operations, technical support
centers or telecommunications.
